For Bands Who Want To Sign To APF Records

APF Records gets a lot of submissions from bands wanting to join the label. We welcome them all and always try to give them a listen. It may take time, and we can’t reply to everyone, but we do pay attention.

APF is now primarily a distribution label. This means we work with bands who already have recorded, mixed, and mastered music ready to go — single, EP, or album. We don’t have the funds to pay for studio time. Instead, we license your work for between 5 and 10 years and release it under the APF banner.

We do two kinds of releases:

Full Release. Your album comes out digitally and physically (including vinyl where it makes sense), stocked in shops and online stores. We handle PR, but if you’d like to bring in an external PR company, that’s at your own expense. Full Releases are generally for bands with an established following or close ties to the label.

DIY Release. Designed for newer or smaller bands. We’ll release your music digitally, on CD and tape (no vinyl) and give it a PR push. The aim here is to give your record a proper home and help it find a wider audience.
