Manchester’s visceral alt-rock four-piece THE HYENA KILL return this autumn with their long-awaited third album Collapse, released 14^th November. A record that journeys from shadow to light, Collapse finds the band at their most open, powerful and fully realised.

Frontman Steven Dobb frames the album as a hard-won exhale after a period of profound loss and isolation: “I gave every fibre of my being to this record… This album is me clawing my way out.” That raw honesty pulses through every track, shifting between fury and stillness with a rare emotional clarity.

Musically, the chemistry is electric: Lorna Blundell’s dynamic percussion and atmospheric vocals anchor Dobb’s soaring, ragged melodies, while Charlie Seisay-Heald threads grinding low-end, rhythm guitars, soul-searching leads and synths through the mix. Collapse also features inspired contributions from friends across the APF family and beyond, including Jen Hingley (False Advertising), Andy Preece (Under), Jake Healy, and Aisling Rhianon Whiting (Sans Froid).

THE HYENA KILL’s last full-length A Disconnect (2021) drew widespread acclaim; Collapse is the sound of that momentum sharpened by experience and carved into something fearless.
