On 12th September, we’ll be back at Rebellion Manchester for APF FEST 2026. 

Following the success of the first APF Fest last September, Uprising Promotions and Rebellion Manchester are doing it all again, in association with APF Records.

It’s basically a celebration of our kind of heavy.

Almost every band playing is on the current APF roster, with Desert Storm returning as APF alumni. They may have left the label recently, but they’re still very much part of the family.

Advance tickets are £15, or it’s £20 on the door.

We’ve got something else planned for the day too. We’ll be holding the first ever public playback of the new Spider Kitten album, God Don’t Sleep, through Rebellion’s massive PA. The album isn’t released until 2nd October, so this will be the first chance anywhere to hear it in full.

Spider Kitten have dropped new single and video God Don’t Sleep today.

It’s taken from the album of the same name, and will give you a flavour of what’s to come when that drops on 2nd October: big, fat, pregnant doom riffs; rolling drums, 3-part harmonies.

On Spotify and all streaming sites it comes with an amped-up b-side: a rampant cover of the Eagles Victim of Love.

Happy release day to Swamp Coffin. Their new single 'Everything Is Nothing' is out in the world today, along with the official video.

It's the first new Swamp Coffin music since 2024's Drowning Glory, and it arrives as part of the band's ongoing celebration of Ten Bastard Years of Swamp Coffin. A decade in, the Rotherham trio sound more intense and furious than they ever have.

The band decided that the Bastard Club deserved some new music to mark the ten years, rather than just a look back at the records they already own.

We're delighted to announce that Spider Kitten will release their new album, God Don't Sleep, on 2nd October.

Pre-orders are live in the shop today: CD, tape, t-shirt, and CD & tee and tape & tee bundles, all available now.

It's five tracks, one of them the best part of twenty-one minutes long, and it's the heaviest, most psychedelic ground the band have covered since Ark of Octofelis a decade ago. Opener Best Guess Hotel comes out swinging in a lurching 6/4, The Calver detonates a hushed intro into Sabbath-sized riffs played at half the speed you'd expect, and the title track spends twenty-one minutes building to a guitar solo that's pure David Gilmour.

Take a closer look at the packaging, though, and there's more going on here than a tracklist. Some listeners will take the album at face value. Others will want to dig further. Both are the right way to hear it.

The God Don't Sleep edit, backed with a cover of The Eagles' "Victim of Love," lands on streaming services on 7th August, the same day pre-orders open on Bandcamp.

I’m sorry to say that shipping prices for EU orders have had to go up.

This is because of the EU’s new small parcel levy, which applies to goods under €150. Royal Mail collects this charge from us when we post the items, so it has to be built into the shipping price at checkout. It is not APF adding extra money on top, and it is not something we can avoid or absorb across every order.

I know this is frustrating. It is frustrating for us too.

APF Records has always had brilliant support from European fans. You buy the records, wear the shirts, share the bands, come to the shows and help keep this label alive. The last thing I want is to make it harder or more expensive for you to order from us.

Unfortunately, small labels like APF are being caught up in a rule that seems mainly aimed at huge low-cost ecommerce platforms. We are not shipping millions of cheap throwaway items. We are sending records, CDs and shirts to people who genuinely care about underground music.

We have updated the EU shipping rates so that the levy is covered as fairly as possible. We are not using this as a way to make extra money. We are also looking at what we can do to reduce the impact.

For now, the best advice is to order items together where you can, rather than placing several smaller orders. It may not remove the levy completely, but it should help spread the postage cost.

We are genuinely sorry about this. APF exists because people support heavy music directly, and we never take that for granted. Thank you to everyone in Europe who continues to order from us despite the extra barriers being thrown in the way.
